April 2023- Riverside County Innovation Month
April as Innovation Month includes: 4 regional fast pitch events and a capstone Finale
TEMECULA, CA – To highlight and celebrate the efforts of our local innovators and entrepreneurs, the City of Temecula and the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce recognizes April as Innovation Month. Riverside County Innovation Month is a celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship and the ecosystem that supports small business. Innovation Month is designed to foster the entrepreneurial spirit by connecting innovators and entrepreneurs to workshops, panels, business leaders, investors and more. Throughout the month of April, stakeholders throughout the county will host many events including regional fast pitch competitions that will showcase local business ideas.
Riverside County innovators and entrepreneurs who are interested in showcasing their own business or product concept are urged to register for a regional fast pitch event! Contestants who participate in a regional fast pitch will showcase their ideas in front of a live audience including judges that are business investors, local elected leaders, and successful business owners. Winners of the regional events will advance to the fast pitch finale to be held in downtown Riverside at the UCR Arts Block on April 27, 2023 where the top three contestants will take home cash prizes.
Along with Riverside County and cities throughout the region, The City of Temecula will be hosting the Southwest Region Quick Pitch and invites you to join:
Southwest Region Quick Pitch Competition: Calling all startup businesses to deliver a 5-minute business pitch to a panel of judges on April 12, from 11:30 am-1:00 pm for the opportunity to win $1,000 cash prize and move on to the Regional Fast Pitch Competition on Thursday, April 27 in Riverside.
