We are looking for a highly conscientious, motivated, and quick-witted problem solver with little to no experience to be responsible for maintaining/upgrading industrial machines and assisting staff in many processes related to manufacturing. This position has immense room to grow.

This is an entry level/apprentice position, and we will train you on the job.

Your main responsibilities after apprenticeship: 

• Assist in multi-stage repairs of complex and unique machinery
• Perform routine maintenance on:
  • Industrial pick-and-place machines
  • Hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Facility utilities
  • Low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
  • Variety of unique machinery related to electrical PCB assembly
• Design and fabricate small structures
• Reverse engineer broken parts and remake them using machine tools
• Use machine tools to assist existing staff in creating parts
• Record and document information to support existing staff
• Research and deploy solutions for existing issues on machinery
• Find replacement parts for legacy and unique machinery

Requirements

• Ability to problem-solve complex systems
• Curiosity and an aptitude for learning
• At least one year’s work in labor: kitchen, construction, fabrication, machine shop
• Ability to switch tasks while continuing long-term projects to their completion
• Ability to conscientiously complete routine tasks and maintain a schedule
• A good understanding of computers and electronics
• Experience repairing home appliances, working on cars, or fixing broken electronics
• Familiarity with hand tools
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
