About the Principal Consultant:
Dr. Tarnowski applies the old Geology adage, "the best geologists have seen the most rocks," to her consulting philosophy: the best consultants have experienced the most organizations. With a complex background in Research Science, Human Resources, and Career Coaching, Dr. Tarnowski synthesizes knowledge from a broad and deep range of organizational experiences. Her previous employment experiences span academic research, government contract work, applied/industry science, strategic HR, and entrepreneurship. She has deep knowledge of the following industries: O&G/Energy, Defense, Higher Education, IT Consulting, Healthcare, and Freelance Music.
Achievements in Previous Relevant Roles:
As an HR Business Partner, Dr. Tarnowski provided input for hiring and recruitment practices, developed in-house manager training, shaped career paths for her division, communicated parameters for promotion, engaged in performance management, on-boarded 250+ employees, and provided strategic guidance for a corporate spin-off. As a University Career Specialist, she provided relevant career-readiness information and strategies for STEM students, while driving increased job candidate understanding of the HR and Hiring Manager POV.
