Champion Level Members Can Experience the Executive Peer Forum
Mike Richardson with REF is proud to collaborate with the Temecula Chamber to offer this exclusive peer forum for business owners and high-level executives.
Have You Ever Experienced a True Peer Forum Experience?
Underlining the word true, have you ever experienced a true peer forum experience?
You might have and I wouldn’t be surprised if you haven’t. Many people think they have until they truly experience the real thing and then they realize it is unlike anything they have experienced before in any other networking community, training workshop, or mentoring, coaching, and consulting equation. It is hard to fully intellectualize what a true peer forum experience is until you experience it for yourself.
“Wow, I didn’t even know something like this existed”
“This is exactly what I have been looking for”
“I wish I had this 5 years ago”
Now is your chance! Collaborating with the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce we are delighted to be offering a Champion Executive Peer Forum as an added value experience exclusively for Champion level members, Chairman’s elite members, and the Board of Directors.
Hello all, I’m Mike Richardson with REF (formerly Renaissance Executive Forums) and I am delighted to have called Temecula home for 10 years already, living out near Anza Road and Pauba. I have been facilitating peer forum experiences globally for 20 years, during which time they have gone mainstream as a new category of leadership development. So, I am delighted to be bringing REF Peer Forums to our backyard here in Temecula/Murrieta and the valley. REF is celebrating 30 years this year in 2024 and is now in 19 countries and expanding rapidly.
Why are so many CEOs and Executives in Peer forums Globally?
Simple, because it’s lonely at the top! That is not just a cliche, it is a reality.
“It’s lonely at the top”
Over my 20 years of running forums and exploratory conversations with hundreds of members and prospective members, I have heard that phrase so many times from them, unprompted by me.
Recent research from Korn Ferry verifies this: 71% of US CEOs Experience Imposter Syndrome. 65% of Senior Executives feel the same way. They conclude how important it is for CEOs and Senior Executives to have somewhere where they “can let their guard down and speak candidly about their challenges".
Introduction Video
What is a Peer Forum?
It is a personal board of advisors which is confidential with no competitors or other conflicts of interest in the room. A circle-of-trust, safe-place where members can hang it all at the door (the armor, the thick skin, the ego, being all-buttoned-up), come on in being fully themselves and transparent about their issues, challenges, problems and opportunities they are navigating on their journey, holistically in business and life, professionally and personally. With peers who can relate and have no hidden agenda. It becomes a hall of mirrors of leaders powered by collective intelligence.
“A hall of mirrors”
It becomes invaluable and irreplaceable; unlike anything members can typically find anywhere else. Which is why they stay so long. I’ve had members in my forums for 15 years, 12 years, 10 years, etc. These are CEOs and Senior Executives like you who vote with their wallets and their feet! In the absence of any long-term contract, if they aren’t getting a strong ROI payback on their time and money, they are gone! Yet they stay a very long time.
Who are Peer Forums For?
Peer forums are for CEOs and Senior Executives who are hungry to continue learning and growing. They are coachable and want to be amongst the best getting better, going from good to great. They are ready, willing and able to give and get value with their peers as a win/win/win proposition.
“Care-frontation”
They want to invest in themselves and in each other with “care-frontation”. They are more concerned about what they don’t know they don’t know. They want to surround themselves with diverse peers looking from diverse angles so they can be more confident that they don’t have any blind spots.
“15 members, zero blind spots”
The more diversity the better, which amplifies the collective intelligence power of peers. So we look for a range of members from large companies to small companies, high-tech to low-tech, old-economy to new-economy, local to global, mostly for-profit and some not-for-profit, tenured leaders and rookie leaders, gender, ethnicity, and every other dimension of diversity we can get. So, coming to a peer forum is like breathing different air.
“Like breathing different air”
How, Where and When do Peer Forums Happen?
Regular peer forums typically happen locally, with members meeting face-to-face monthly for half a day.
The Champion Executive Peer Forum is a little different. It is your opportunity twice per year, in the fall and the spring, to join us for half a day to experience it for yourself.
I hope I have piqued your curiosity to want to attend. Come and join us for a unique experience quite likely, unlike anything you have experienced before.
