While their physical presence is significant, many residents and local business leaders may not fully realize the extraordinary impact this company has, not just globally, but right here in the Temecula Valley. A longtime member of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, Abbott has quietly supported and strengthened our community for over four decades. Today, we are proud to help tell their story.

Abbott sought to produce scientifically formulated medicines to better serve patients and the doctors who cared for them. Since then, Abbott has grown into a global healthcare leader—yet it has never lost sight of its founding mission: to improve lives by providing cost-effective healthcare products and services. 

The Temecula facility is one of Abbott’s largest U.S. manufacturing sites and plays a central role in the company’s Medical Device Division. Here, over 1,970 individuals—including employees, contractors, and third-party partners—work together to manufacture life-saving medical devices. These advanced technologies are used around the world to treat patients with coronary artery disease and other serious cardiovascular conditions.

In 2023 alone, Abbott Temecula contributed nearly $165,000 to 60 organizations in the areas of youth development, health, education, the arts, and public safety. The company attended and/or sponsored over 100 community events, from science education programs and local high school sports, to charitable walks, galas, and military tributes. These contributions are more than financial; they are personal. Abbott employees collectively volunteered over 1,000 hours last year, mentoring students at STEM nights, supporting educational initiatives, and advancing causes that reflect the values of our region.
