On March 15, 2025, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its highly anticipated 59th Annual Awards Gala at Pechanga Resort Casino. This premier event brought together over 720 guests for an evening of celebration, recognition, and community spirit. Sponsored by Abbott and Pechanga Resort & Casino, the night featured an elegant dinner, an extravagant silent auction, a breathtaking live ballet performance, and an inspiring awards ceremony, followed by a lively after-party.

The Chamber proudly honored outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made a significant impact on the Temecula Valley community. This year’s distinguished award recipients are:

Lifetime Achievement Award

Mark Macarro, Pechanga Resort Casino Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro has dedicated three decades to strengthening Pechanga’s sovereignty, economic self-sufficiency, and cultural identity. His leadership has played a pivotal role in the region’s development, and this award recognizes his lasting contributions.

Citizen of the Year

Kim Gerrish, Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center As the Executive Director of Michelle’s Place, Kim Gerrish has dedicated over two decades to supporting individuals affected by cancer. Her passion for nonprofit work and her commitment to strengthening community resources make her a true leader and advocate for cancer care.

Business of the Year Awards

Bronze Business of the Year: JDS Studio – A creative powerhouse empowering talent through performing arts education and video production training.

Sterling Business of the Year: Grapeline Wine Tours – Providing premier wine country experiences with top-tier service and hospitality.

Gold Business of the Year: Bluewater Grill Seafood Restaurant & Market – Delivering fresh seafood and a warm dining experience with a community-driven approach.

Platinum Business of the Year: Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac – A dealership committed to making a difference through generosity and customer service excellence.

Organization of the Year Awards

Sapphire Organization: All From The Heart – Supporting military families through impactful programs like Wheels for Warriors.

Ruby Organization: MilVet – Providing essential aid to veterans, service members, and their families.

Emerald Organization: Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County – Offering academic, arts, STEM, and leadership programs to empower the next generation.

Chairman’s Choice Award

Tammy Marine, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley With over 33 years in the nonprofit sector, Tammy Marine’s leadership has shaped Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley and contributed to numerous advocacy efforts across California.

The Welty Award for Tourism Professional of the Year

Ken Smith, Galway Downs Ken Smith’s innovative vision has revitalized Temecula’s hospitality scene. Through his leadership of Kentina Hospitality, he has transformed iconic venues and strengthened the region’s tourism industry.
