March's Collective is being held at Ford & Elm a beautiful and unique store in Temecula.

Topic: Enhancing Business Exposure and the Benefits of Shopping Local!

Attendees will hear from the City of Temecula's Economic Development Manager Christine Damko on "Positively Impacting you City by Shopping Local" and from The Local Gist's Jennifer Boutelle on "First Steps to Multi-Platform Content Creating for Local Businesses."

Christine Damko serves as the Economic Development Manager for the City of Temecula. She is responsible for the city’s economic development strategy, which includes business retention and expansion programs, business attraction, business ombudsman services, foreign affairs and public relations activities including the City’s social media accounts. Christine also serves on the Board of Regents for the California Association for Local Economic Development, a state-wide organization dedicated to advancing economic development strategies to local communities.

Jennifer Boutelle is the owner of The Local Gist, a multi-media agency and digital publication serving the Temecula Valley Small Business community. She moved to Temecula in 2022. Prior to her move, she worked as a Line Producer and Production Manager for several media companies in Los Angeles such as Viacom, Paramount, Awesomenss TV, TNT, & tbs Network since 2008. Originally from a small town in Georgia, Jennifer has spent the last 15 years creating content to promote brands and is now dedicated to helping locals in Temecula thrive too.

A little bit about our host Porsche Poltl is the owner and operator of Ford and Elm, a home furnishings and interior design shop in Temecula, California. Porsche is responsible for all aspects of running her business, including buying, sourcing antiques from around the world, running the website, inventory, marketing, styling and merchandising, and coordinating local events. Porsche prides herself in bringing people together in a beautiful way. She believes in community, collaboration, and creativity while providing exceptional customer service, eco-friendly products, and sourcing local first. In addition, she is very passionate about supporting local artists and craftspeople.
