The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge is a way to honor and remember the Fire Dept of New York Firefighters, New York Police Dept & Port Authority of New York Police Officers, who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on September 11, 2001. Each participant pays tribute to a FDNY, NYPD or PANY brother by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of a FDNY, NYPD & PANY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter, law enforcement and community participation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters and 72 law enforcements are honored and ensures their sacrifice will “Never Be Forgotten.” The Stair-Climb funds will support Honoring USA Heroes mission to provide an Amazing Memorial Picture* that ensures the memory of the 9/11 hero will “Never Be Forgotten”. Your Fundraising efforts may earn you as a Sponsor or Adopter of your chosen 9/11 Hero. A goal of $500 will provide a Memorial Picture Speaker for your chosen 9/11 Hero’s family and you have an opportunity to Adopt your chosen Hero to take home when you raise $900 or more. Also, additional funds raised, HUSAH will support the families of your local fallen Firefighters, Law Enforcements and Military.
