About the Seminar:

The Corporate Transparency Act will have a significant impact on all business entities in the United States. The Federal Government has instituted a program requiring information from almost all businesses in their efforts to detect and prevent terrorism, money laundering, and other corporate misconduct. This law will place a tremendous burden on small and medium-sized businesses which will be required to provide ownership information to the Federal Government.

To help with an understanding of the requirements and discuss some of the major exemptions, the Law Offices of Rosenstein & Associates, in partnership with the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to offer a seminar about this New Law: The Corporate Transparency Act as an education class. This informative session, presented by Robert Rosenstein will clarify the requirements of the Act and provide valuable insights on compliance.

The seminar will provide an overview of the Corporate Transparency Act's requirements including the definition of beneficial owners, requirements for forming a new company and filing with FINCEN. The session will also examine the penalties for non-compliance and exceptions for reporting entities.

The Corporate Transparency Act is a critical issue for all businesses, and the time to act is now. Penalties for failure to comply will start at $500 a day and could go as high as $10k and could even be a felony. Existing companies will have up to one year to make their first filing, and any entity formed or registered on or after January 1, 2024, will have only 30 days from formation. This includes limited liability corporations, corporations, registered partnerships, and limited partnerships, among others, unless they are exempt. If any of the exemption requirements occur, the reporting must be done within 30 days.

This class is an opportunity for business owners, managers, and those involved in company formation to stay apprised of the new law and take proactive steps to remain compliant. Do not miss out on this opportunity to gain valuable insights and protect your business interests. Registration is free, and space is limited. Do not hesitate and sign up today to attend.
