Attention Temecula Valley residents, it's time to clear out those old electronics cluttering up your home and office! Join the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce for our quarterly Free E-Waste Recycling Event! 

This event is designed to help you responsibly dispose of any unused or outdated electronics without harming the environment. The event is powered by Attan Recycling, a highly reputable organization that specializes in the responsible recycling of electronic waste. Our free e-waste recycling event will be held in the parking lot just outside JCPenney at the Promenade Temecula mall. This event provides you the opportunity to safely and securely drop off your old electronics items without any costs. 

Bring a wide range of electronic and electric appliances such as computer monitors, televisions, PC systems, printers, laptops, copiers, scanners, fax machines, toner cartridges, UPS and PDAs, power supplies, main frame units, networking equipment, motherboard systems, VCR & DVD players, home entertainment systems, landline & cell phones, and even small portable devices. 

Please note that there is a fee for certain electronic items. For microwaves, cooling units, water dispensers, air conditioners, wine coolers, mini freezer, etc., a $10 fee applies. For water heaters, freezers, exercise equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, rowing machines, etc., a $20 fee applies. Washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, and refrigerators (standard 2-3 doors) have a $30 fee. Please be aware that we do not accept batteries during this event. Fortunately, Batteries Plus Bulbs stores accept those recyclable items. 

It is essential to participate in the event because E-Waste is any consumer electronic equipment that has reached its ‘end-of-life’ or ‘end-of-usage,’ whether in full or non-working condition. It includes most electronics or electric appliances with a cord or circuit board. Responsibly disposing of e-waste is vital for the environment, as improperly disposed electronics can release toxic chemicals that can harm our planet and ecosystem.
